CEC-2009 Simulated Car Racing Submissions

Daniele | CEC-2009,Championship 2009 | Monday, April 27th, 2009

Gentlemen start your engines!

I would like to remind you that the deadline (8th May) of the CEC-2009 Simulated Car Racing Competition is fast approaching!

Please remember that the CEC-2009 Simulated Car Racing Competition is part of the 2009 Simulated Car Racing Championship, an event joining three competitions held at CEC-2009, GECCO-2009, and CIG-2009.
Therefore we encourage competitors to submit also ongoing works and to improve them for next legs of the championship that will be the GECCO-2009 and the CIG-2009 competitions.
To submit your entry, send an email to championship2009@ieee-cig.org with the following things:

  • the complete package of your controller, i.e., everything is necessary to compile and to run it (please include also sources)
  • a brief README with instructions on how to run your controller
  • a brief description on what you did to develop/evolve/learn your solution [if you plan to attend the conference, you can instead provide some Power Point slides and you might be asked to present your work at the conference]

For Java/C++ controllers, we will appreciate if you manage to submit a package built on the Java/C++ clients provided (see http://cig.ws.dei.polimi.it/?page_id=80).
However, any kind of package will be accepted as far as (i) the instructions to compile and to run it are complete and clear and (ii) it provides the same functionalities of the Java/C++ clients provided for the competition.

If you are going to submit a controller, please send an email to championship2009@ieee-cig.org as soon as possible (we need to estimate in advance the number of competitors for organization purposes).
